Liberty Property Mgmt. Group, PLLC. has evolved from its beginnings as First Lithuanian Building & Loan Association, founded in 1901, when my Great Grandparents came to Philadelphia from Lithuania. Many Lithuanians settled in the City of Philadelphia at that time in history. First Lithuanian Building & Loan was established to fund the building and purchase of homes and commercial business properties, for the Lithuanian Community. The Building & Loan Associates all spoke Lithuanian and many soon learned English, thus solving the language barrier for the new Lithuanian immigrants. Also, there was a natural trust built amongst fellow Countrymen and Members in the banking business.

When the Great Depression hit in the 1940's, instead of foreclosing on properties and Mortgage Loans, my Grandfather went door to door on the weekends to talk to those in the Community that were behind on their Mortgage payments and collected whatever the Borrower could afford. This is how First Lithuanian Building & Loan survived. They worked with what they had and helped all of their Members survive, as a Community.

In 19XX, First Lithuanian Building & Loan became a Federally Chartered Savings & Loan with Assets of $ $$$$$. In 1986, Liberty Federal Savings & Loan became Liberty Bank and in 1991, Liberty Bank merged with Equibank of Pittsburgh.

Having grown up in the business of Banking, Real Estate and Finance, working in the family business during my High School years, my career path took me into Mortgage Banking, Real Estate Development, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Contracting, Commercial Real Estate Leasing/ Sales and both Residential and Commercial Property Management. My experience over the last 35 years has involved all facets of Real Estate, its Development and Management. Today, I operate under the name Liberty Property Management Group, PLLC. keeping ties to my family history and service in the Building & Loan Industry to provide Real Estate Management, Project Management and Consulting Services in both the Commercial and Residential Markets.
